White Oak know as French white oak is valued for its density, strength and resiliency and because of its closed cellular structure is preferred for use in furniture including hardwood flooring. It is very resistant to rot because of its high tannin content. So that it is suitable for water-holding applications, boat building, outdoor furniture, etc. Moreover, through nitrate chemical experiment, white oak is stronger than red oak.Our White Oak Legend Series and colors are available in select grade 3 1/4”and 5” widths with a smooth and hand sraped !
